Position: Front Desk Lead
Location: New Rochelle
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Up to 30 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Position Overview

PickleRage New Rochelle is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and highly motivated Front Desk Lead to help create an exceptional experience for members and guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, community-focused environment and has a passion for customer service, sales, and racquet sports.

The Front Desk Lead will oversee daily front desk operations, support membership growth, assist with staff leadership, and help ensure the club operates smoothly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a welcoming and high-energy experience to all members and guests
  • Lead by example in customer service, professionalism, and hospitality
  • Drive membership sales, program registrations, and event participation
  • Conduct club tours and explain membership options confidently
  • Assist with onboarding and training front desk team members
  • Manage court reservations, check-ins, phone inquiries, and scheduling
  • Handle member questions and resolve concerns professionally
  • Support club programming, leagues, clinics, tournaments, and special events
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and lobby areas
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding daily operations and member feedback
  • Help promote club events and initiatives both in-person and through community outreach

Qualifications

  • Pickleball and/or racquet sports experience strongly preferred
  • Previous front desk, hospitality, retail, fitness, or customer service experience required
  • Sales experience required, especially in memberships, retail, hospitality, or service industries
  • Outgoing, positive, and team-oriented personality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve effectively
  • Basic computer and scheduling software proficiency
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
