An Hourly Offshore Diesel Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting diesel engines and related equipment on offshore oil rigs and platforms. Their tasks include inspecting engines, replacing parts, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all machinery operates safely and efficiently. They often work long shifts in challenging conditions and must adhere to strict safety protocols due to the potentially hazardous offshore environment. This role is essential for minimizing downtime and ensuring the smooth running of offshore operations.
