Position Details: Full-Time, Live-Out
Location: Katonah, NY
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday
Hours: 10:00 AM–7:30 PM; occasional earlier/later hours or overnights may be needed
Compensation: $30–$35 per hour
Additional Benefits: Health insurance stipend may be considered
Start Date: August 31, 2026

A family in Katonah, NY is seeking a warm, flexible, and dependable Housekeeper/Nanny to support their home and family long term. The primary focus of this role is deep cleaning, laundry, household organization, light cooking, and maintaining the home. The role will also include occasional childcare support when needed. There are three (3) children in the home.

The ideal candidate is positive, helpful, calm, and energetic, with excellent judgment and a willingness to jump in wherever needed. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term relationship with a family.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed housekeeping and deep cleaning throughout the home.
  • Handle household laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and putting items away.
  • Maintain household organization and keep the home running smoothly.
  • Assist with light cooking and meal assembly, mostly preparing plates from items already in the refrigerator.
  • Help with children as needed, especially on Saturdays and occasionally for an hour or two during the week.
  • Assist with childcare alongside the au pair when the parents are away for a weekend.
  • Help maintain a calm, organized, and welcoming household environment.
  • Travel with the family when requested, possibly up to one week at a time, especially during the summer.
