Hourly Meta Health information

What is an hourly meta health professional?

An Hourly Meta Health professional typically refers to someone who provides health-related support or consulting services on an hourly basis, often through platforms like Meta (formerly Facebook) or other virtual environments. These professionals may offer coaching, wellness advice, or health assessments remotely, catering to clients' needs in real time. Their services can cover a range of topics such as nutrition, mental health, exercise, and lifestyle changes. The hourly structure allows clients to book sessions as needed, making it a flexible option for both the provider and the client.

What are some common challenges faced by hourly meta health workers, and how can they be managed effectively?

Hourly Meta Health workers often encounter fast-paced environments where adaptability and strong communication skills are essential. Balancing patient care with administrative tasks, such as documentation and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, can be challenging. To manage these demands, it's helpful to stay organized, seek clarification when needed, and actively engage in ongoing training. Building strong relationships with colleagues also helps foster a supportive work environment, making it easier to address challenges as they arise.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a health information technician, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Health Information Technician, you need a solid understanding of medical terminology, coding systems like ICD-10 and CPT, and typically an associate degree in health information management or a related field. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) software, data management systems, and certifications such as RHIT or CCS are often required. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are crucial soft skills for this role. These skills ensure accurate and secure management of patient data, supporting both healthcare operations and patient care quality.

Job description

Company Overview

Meta Power Solutions is a fast-growing manufacturer of medium- and low-voltage power distribution equipment—including switchboards, transformers, switchgear, mobile substations, e-houses, and energy-as-a-service solutions—serving utility, commercial, industrial, data center, and renewable energy markets across North America. As we expand our Florida footprint and enter new markets, we're seeking a people-focused HR leader to build our workforce for the next phase of growth.

Position Summary

The Director of HR leads all HR strategy and operations for approximately 120 employees and contractors across our headquarters and growing manufacturing footprint, reporting directly to the CEO and managing a Recruiting & Sourcing Specialist and an HR Administrative Assistant. With 20–30 new hires planned by year-end, this role calls for a hands-on HR professional who can build scalable people infrastructure, lead high-volume talent acquisition, and shape the culture of a fast-paced, mission-driven manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead endtoend recruiting across salaried, hourly manufacturing, and contract roles.
  • Direct the Recruiting & Sourcing Specialist, setting hiring targets to support an aggressive yearend ramp.
  • Build talent pipelines for highvolume, recurring roles at both manufacturing sites.
  • Partner with division leaders and plant managers to translate workforce plans into recruiting priorities.
  • Manage staffing agency, job board, and sourcing platform relationships to optimize costperhire and timetofill.
  • HR Operations & Compliance
  • Own HR policies, the employee handbook, and procedures companywide.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and Florida employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA) across office and plant environments.
  • Administer the HRIS platform, maintaining accurate records for all employee types.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding, and supervise the HR Administrative Assistant on routine HR transactions.
  • Employee Relations & Culture
  • Serve as the primary HR resource for employee relations—advising managers, investigating concerns, and resolving workplace issues.
  • Build engagement and recognition programs that improve retention, especially among hourly manufacturing staff.
  • Partner with leadership to reinforce company values and behavioral standards across all locations.
  • Compensation, Benefits & Performance Management

  • Oversee benefits administration (health, dental, vision, 401(k)), including enrollment and vendor management.
  • Lead compensation benchmarking to keep pay competitive and internally equitable across job families.
  • Manage the annual performance review cycle, merit increases, and goalsetting.
  • Advise on total compensation strategy as headcount scales.
  • Manufacturing HR & Safety Partnership

  • Partner with plant managers and the COO on workforce planning and labor relations across all manufacturing sites.
  • Support an OSHAcompliant safety culture through HR policy, incident reporting, and returntowork programs.
  • Manage FMLA, ADA, and workers' comp leave administration for shiftbased environments.
  • Advise on contractor classification to mitigate coemployment risk.
  • HR Strategy & Executive Partnership

  • Advise the CEO and executive team on organizational design, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Maintain an HR metrics dashboard (headcount, turnover, timetofill, costperhire) with regular leadership reporting.
  • Build scalable HR workflows, templates, and systems.
  • Evaluate HR technology (HRIS, ATS, LMS) to support growth.
  • Qualifications & Requirements

    Experience
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role.
  • Experience supporting both exempt and hourly workforces, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Proven highvolume recruiting experience, including direct supervision of recruiting staff.
  • Experience managing HR across multiple sites.
  • Handson background in HR operations, benefits administration, employee relations and retention, and compliance.
  • Technical & Functional Skills
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce Now, Paylocity, UKG, or similar) and applicant tracking systems.
  • Working knowledge of federal and Florida employment law.
  • Experience with OSHA recordkeeping, workers' compensation, and safetyrelated HR programs.
  • Ability to build and present HR metrics dashboards to executive leadership.
  • Experience building, maintaining, and measuring employee training programs.
  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
  • Master's degree (MBA or MS in HR/Organizational Development) a plus.
  • SHRMCP, SHRMSCP, PHR, or SPHR certification strongly preferred.
  • Location
  • Must be located in, or willing to relocate to, the West Palm Beach / Palm Beach Gardens area, Florida.
  • Core Competencies
  • Builder mentality—thrives on creating structure and process in a scaling organization.
  • High integrity and discretion with confidential personnel matters.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across the shop floor and boardroom.
  • Excellent organizational skills; able to manage competing priorities.
  • Datadriven approach to workforce decisions.
  • Collaborative, lowego leadership style that builds trust quickly.
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience.
  • Performancebased annual bonus.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k).
  • Relocation package (where applicable).
