MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Allocation & Replenishment Ownership

  • Manage end‑to‑end allocation for 4,000+ SKUs across all stores, ensuring optimal coverage, sales performance, and inventory efficiency.
  • Maintain and refine replenishment logic, including min/max levels, store coverage rules, and category‑specific stocking strategies.
  • Monitor SKU performance and store behavior to adjust allocation decisions proactively.

New Products, Promotions & Seasonal Activity

  • Own initial allocations for new product launches and new stores, including ramp‑up logic and early performance monitoring.
  • Execute promotional allocations, including pre‑promotion bulk‑ups and post‑promotion replenishment recovery.
  • Support seasonal transitions and category resets with clear allocation plans.

SKU Audits & Data Integrity

  • Conduct rolling SKU audits by category to ensure stocking levels, store coverage, and replenishment logic remain aligned with demand.
  • Maintain product data integrity (item status, stocking flags, replenishment attributes) to ensure clean inputs for allocation decisions.
  • Identify and correct data inconsistencies that impact allocation accuracy.

Store & DC Partnership

  • Serve as the primary inventory point of contact for stores, providing clear communication on stock availability, DC constraints, and allocation decisions.
  • Support DC operations with item‑level and bin‑level analysis to improve flow and availability.
  • Gather store feedback and incorporate it into allocation logic where appropriate.

Analytics & Performance Insights

  • Analyze product, category, store, and regional performance to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Track key metrics including unit/dollar sales, sell‑through, sales‑to‑stock ratios, and GMROII.
  • Partner with Product Management and Finance to support forecasting and buy reviews with data‑driven recommendations.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Management, Retail Operations, Finance, and DC teams to align allocation decisions with consumer behavior and financial targets
  • Build scalable processes and calendars that improve cross‑functional visibility and execution.
  • Surface data‑driven insights that influence long‑term replenishment strategy, category plans, and inventory investments

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of retail merchandise planning & allocation, financial analyst, or data analyst experience, including direct, hands-on ownership of allocation or inventory management for a high-SKU-count assortment (thousands of active SKUs).
  • Strong analytical experience, with a demonstrated ability to translate large, complex datasets into sound allocation and inventory decisions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency with Power BI (or comparable analytics/BI platforms) required; experience with SQL and with inventory/replenishment or planning systems (e.g., Netstock, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, or similar) is a strong plus.
  • Highly collaborative, with ability to work in partnership with all levels of the organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with both external and internal business partners.
  • Thrive in high-energy and fast-paced office environment, subject to quick turnaround situations.
  • Ability to organize work and manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines with minimal oversight.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Proven ability to take full ownership of a complex, high-volume body of work and drive it independently from day one, exercising sound judgment with limited oversight.
