About the Role
As a CNC Machine Shop Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating and monitoring CNC machines used to manufacture precision metal parts. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys producing top-quality work from start to finish.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
  • Load raw materials and unload finished parts.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Measure and inspect parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain quality standards and production quotas.
  • Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues.
  • Troubleshoots problems.

  • Education and experience in related field
  • Sheet metal fabrication background
  • Experience with tight tolerances and high-mix/low-volume work
