Job description

We Are Hiring

Location: Round Rock, TX 

Facility: Seton Medical Center-Williamson

Department/Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab 

Schedule: Days | Full-time | Monday - Friday

What You Will Do
  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging within the Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) scope of practice to support rapid physician diagnosis.
  • Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to verify imaging orders and ensure clinical accuracy for lifesaving cardiovascular procedures and treatments.
  • Perform clinical duties and assist physicians with complex treatments within a Level 1 Trauma center's fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
  • Manage precise clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to maintain quality improvement standards and patient safety compliance.
  • Complete intensive Nasium training as a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist to achieve Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) clinical certification.
What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Limited Medical Radiology Technician credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preferences
  • Adapt to a high-pressure environment, including mandatory participation in weekend, holiday, and weeknight on-call rotations.
  • Live close to the hospital to meet the National Cath Lab 30-minute on-call radius 
  • Exhibit strong technical proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and radiation safety protocols to ensure quality improvement.
  • Demonstrate clinical competency in limited scope radiographic exams, including chest, spine, and extremities, within a hospital setting.
  • Commit to completing the 52-week hybrid Nasium Training program to obtain Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
