Job description


The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience Program invites applications for its part-time lecturer pool.
We are seeking experienced, student-learning focused adjunct faculty to teach face-to-face courses on the Riverside campus in the following subject areas:
  • General Psychology (104)
  • Developmental Psychology (234)
  • Critical Thinking in Psychology (106)
  • Abnormal Psychology (275)
  • Human Neuropsychology (365)
  • Other specialized topics in neuroscience (484)

This is a pool of part-time adjunct faculty for the department to draw on as necessary. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must have at least a Master's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a closely related field.
A Ph.D. or extensive professional experience is desirable for teaching upper-division courses (300- or 400-level).
Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and throughout employment.
  • This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
  • Must reside in the State of California by the start date and maintain California residency throughout employment.

COMPENSATION
