The job
As part of the Advanced Applications team, you'll collaborate with a team of skilled software engineers in designing and implementing MES architecture and solutions.
Key responsibilities
  • Evaluate, adopt, and apply generative, agentic, and AI-assisted engineering tools to improve MES development, testing, legacy system understanding, and overall software delivery efficiency; champion adoption of effective practices across the team.
  • Recognize, articulate, and make technical decisions / trade-offs around multiple dimensions (scaling, reliability, performance, maintenance, etc.) that have an impact on your team
  • Design, develop, test, and debug software applications
  • Deliver software on-time and constantly work to make accurate estimates and deliver on those estimates
  • Work with technical writing staff to document product behavior and implementation details
  • Collaborate with team members on how to approach and prioritize development efforts
  • Understand and proactively follow team processes, documentation, best practices, and code style guides
  • Communicate technical work through design docs and tech talks

Essential requirements
  • Formal training with a degree in Computer Programming or Software Engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in similar roles
  • Knowledge of C#, knowledge of JavaScript and CSS would be a plus
  • Knowledge of agile development software practices
  • Experience with SQL Server, databases and TSQL
