Job description

(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Psychiatry/Mental Health-NP - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Loan Repayment Eligible Site | Excellent Collaborating Support and Training for New and Recent Graduates) - Experience with Substance Abuse a plus-Chicago (2 | 8 days per week and one Saturday per month)-Split between two clinics in the Auburn Park area) | Loan Repayment FQHC! $72 per hour with malpractice coverage for part-time, or Salary of $120,000+ with benefits for full time with benefits and loan repayment. Due to the growth of the service, we are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner interested in working in an out-patient setting for a community- based health clinic in the Auburn Park area providing psychiatric services to the underserved. The PMHNP could either work 2 | 8 hour days during the week split between two clinics and Saturday per month on a part-time basis or 4 | 8 hour days working full time 32 hours per week with benefits. The clinics are located within close proximity to each other. The Provider would work in an outpatient setting with excellent collaborating physician support. The APRN would conduct one new psychiatric evaluation every hour and med|checks run every 15 to 20 minutes. The Provider would see patients with a variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, suicidal ideology, bi-polar disorder, as well as provide therapy to individuals dealing with grief|loss, anger and stress management, divorce recovery and other life issues. The hourly rate would be $65-$72 (Depending upon experience) per hour for part time employment with malpractice coverage. If the Provider is interested in working 31+ per hour then a base salary of $120,000+ will be offered and would include a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with match, paid malpractice insurance, CME Allowance (non-capped and approved by the Director), Federal Holidays, Paid CME time off, all licensure, dues fees and DEA covered by the practice. Signing Bonus and Relocation Allowance provided by the clinic. The CEO does strongly prefer someone that is licensed in the state of IL. This FQHC position qualifies for Federal Loan Repayment of $25,000 per year (minimum of a two-year commitment required in exchange for $50,000) paid directly to the Provider's federally qualified student loans or the Nursing Corp which provides 60% of loan debt paid off (minimum of a 2-year commitment).
