What is an hourly IAM engineer?

An Hourly IAM (Identity and Access Management) Engineer is a cybersecurity professional who specializes in managing digital identities and controlling access to an organization’s systems and data on an hourly or contract basis. Their responsibilities often include configuring and maintaining IAM tools, ensuring compliance with security policies, troubleshooting access issues, and supporting user provisioning or de-provisioning. Working hourly means they are typically hired for specific projects or to provide flexible support rather than as full-time staff. This role is crucial for protecting sensitive information and maintaining secure access controls in any organization.
