Job Overview
Service Technicians play a critical role in supporting our field operations. Service technicians will work on a variety of job assignments, including field and yard operations, pressure cleaning, operation of equipment, and lead job site cleanup. This high impact role is a great opportunity to increase your knowledge in the waste industry. You will join a team of professionals that enjoy hands-on work, working independently, contributing to the bigger picture, and being part of a safety focused team. Essential Job Functions
  • Perform high-pressure washing and thorough job site cleanup
  • Operate field equipment, including jetters, vacuum units, and Hotsy pressure washers
  • Assist with confined space tasks and site preparation
  • Operate and maintain plant and yard equipment efficiently
  • Operation of company vehicles safely to and from job sites
  • Forklift operation as needed (experience preferred)
  • Support vacuum truck operators and participation in special projects
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
  • May require occasional overtime, weekends or holiday shifts as dictated by business needs
What You Need:
  • High school diploma or GED required, previous relevant experience may replace educational requirements.
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Self-motivated, dependable and safety conscious
  • Must be able to learn quickly, with ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures, safety policies, and other job specific written information.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds, bend, stoop. Climb and work in various weather conditions
  • Strong interpersonal, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Must have valid driver's license with the ability to pass a background check and drug screening
