Position: Corporate Law Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $100–$120/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Build a realistic digital workspace centered on the Drive folders you use day-to-day. Include engagement letters, diligence memos, deal drafts, closing checklists, board materials, opinion letters, and email threads. Represent platforms like Westlaw, LexisNexis, Datasite, Intralinks, Icertis, or HotDocs.
• Design multi-step tasks grounded in real workflows. Structure around end-to-end client engagements such as origination, diligence, negotiation/drafting, closing, and post-closing integration. Challenge frontier AI agents by navigating multiple apps, files, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other corporate attorneys to design the environment, shape task scope, and review scenarios for realism and rigor.
• Work asynchronously with research teams to refine task designs and evaluation criteria for corporate-law agent benchmarks.
• Contribute to frontier AI research and benchmarking. Your work directly informs how leading labs train and evaluate the next generation of AI systems.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• JD and active bar admission
• 3+ years of full-time corporate experience at an AmLaw 100 firm or Fortune 500 in-house legal department
• Background in areas such as M&A, capital markets, corporate governance, or commercial transactions
• Day-to-day use of Westlaw, LexisNexis, Datasite Diligence, Intralinks, Icertis, or HotDocs
• Strong analytical thinking and writing skills
