Housekeeper / Housekeeping Inspector (Dual Role) - Hotel Indigo Baton Rouge Downtown

At Hotel Indigo Baton Rouge, we're looking for a detail-obsessed, self-motivated professional to step into a dual Housekeeper/Housekeeping Inspector role - a rare opportunity to both roll up your sleeves on the floor and lead by example, ensuring every guest room meets our five-star standard. What You'll Do
  • Clean and prepare guest rooms to Hotel Indigo's exacting standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking amenities
  • Inspect completed rooms for quality, cleanliness, and safety before they're released to guests
  • Spot-check housekeeping staff work and provide friendly, constructive feedback
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and supply shortages promptly
  • Maintain accurate room status logs and communicate with the front desk on room readiness
  • Help train new housekeeping team members on cleaning standards and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with brand and safety standards (OSHA, bloodborne pathogens, chemical handling)
  • Assist with deep-cleaning projects and turnover during high-occupancy periods

What You Bring
  • Previous housekeeping experience required; hotel inspection or supervisory experience a big plus
