Job description

Residential Garbage Truck Driver - Waste Connections

Location: Dade City, FL
Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Waste Connections is looking for individuals who have a passion for driving, career growth, and share our #1 Value: Safety! We are hiring Residential Garbage Truck Drivers to join our team in Dade City, FL.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, typically 3:00 AM - 3:30 PM

  • Occasional Saturday work

  • Average 50-55 hour work week

  • Year-round work with overtime opportunities

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive pay: $25 per hour

Position Summary:

  • Operate a residential garbage truck on a designated route

  • Regular heavy lifting and climbing in/out of the truck

  • Safely, efficiently, and courteously serve customers

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Class A or B CDL

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience with a stable work history (driver experience preferred)

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Garbage truck experience is a plus
