Job description

Broad Functions: Performs various routine duties to assist Environmental Services Department to assure for the safety, cleanliness and well-being of the residents of Cirrus Manor.


Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1.     Perform duties as laid out in a planned schedule or daily checklists.

2.     Floor care to include, stripping, buffing, waxing.

3.     General repairs, including painting, carpentry, plumbing or electrical.

4.     Assist with maintaining driveways, parking lots, and walkways during the winter months and lawn/landscaping etc. during the summer. Ensure housekeeping staff clean any rubbish from facility grounds daily.

5.     Provide assistance to Human Resources and In-service housekeeping and laundry staff.

6.     Direct, train and evaluate new staff in environmental department.

7.     Attend monthly QA meetings, track audits, providing information at meetings.

8.     Maintain scheduling for housekeeping and laundry staff. Keep track of attendance.

9.     Ordering sufficient supplies for housekeeping and laundry departments as needed.

10.  Review SDS book monthly, maintain and revise as necessary for all departments.

11.  Ensure laundry services are completed by laundry staff daily.

12.  Ensure resident rooms and facility is cleaned to regulatory standards by housekeeping staff daily.

13.  Perform other comparable duties as assigned.

14.  Comply with State, OSHA, and Federal Safety and Health Regulations.


Qualifications:

High School Diploma

3-5 years practical experience

Mental and Physical Health sufficient to perform job functions.


Compensation

Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience.
