Job description

RN – Electrophysiology Lab

Shift: 4x10 Day schedule (Mon–Fri), 07:00–17:30. Call: 1 week every 2 months.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years RN experience
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Experience with Epic charting system
  • Core EP skills including:
    • Cardiac ablation and mapping
    • Pacemaker and AICD insertion, programming, and lead extraction/removal
    • Arrhythmia induction and conduction studies
    • Cardioversion
    • Left atrial appendage closure procedures
    • Vascular closure systems and sheath removal/monitoring
    • Radiation/laser safety and scrub procedures
    • Ventilator management

Compliance / Notes:

  • Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
  • COVID-19 vaccine not required
  • Ohio-specific credentialing requirements:
    • Strict compliance deadline: Tuesday prior to start (no exceptions)
    • Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting ASAP after signing contract
    • Candidates outside Ohio may need to travel to Ohio for fingerprinting or complete mailed packet urgently
