FLSA STATUS: Part Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The position is event based and will be scheduled on an as needed basis.

• Maintains a professional appearance and mannerism
• Possesses knowledge of the area (i.e. street and business locations)
• Works with a show's touring manager running errands, shopping for groceries picking up/dropping off talent at the airport/hotel, picking up food at local restaurants, dropping off/picking up laundry, setting up an office environment for show personnel
• Maintains spending records and receipts for all purchased items
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements and Abilities

• Must be 21 years of age (required to operate a rental vehicle and to purchase alcohol)
• Must be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle and must pass a driving background check
• Must be able to pass a background check for cash handling
• Must possess the ability to operate a 15-passenger van, an SUV, and/or a passenger vehicle
• Must possess the ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Must possess the ability to work hours as dictated by events, very frequently from early morning until late at night with some shifts lasting longer than 12 hours

• Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, work independently and as a team, and have reliable transportation. The position is event based and will be scheduled on an as needed basis.
• Candidate may be asked to use personal vehicle on occasion. Having access to a vehicle that seats at least 5 people is a plus.
• Must possess the ability to speak, read, and communicate effectively

WORKING CONDITIONS

Location: On Site at The Buddy Holly Hall, Lubbock, Texas

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however, during events, the noise level may be loud

• Ability to navigate a variety of floor surfaces and areas, including continuous standing and walking, including up and down stairs.
