MANTECH seeks a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Business Development and Capture Executive to join our DHS division in Herndon, VA. This is a hybrid role with onsite presence required as needed, which may vary from week to week.

As a key leader in ManTech's DHS expansion, this role requires deep DHS experience and strong relationships, particularly within DHS Headquarters and CISA. This individual will help drive adoption of core solutions-cybersecurity, application development, systems engineering, mission/enterprise IT, and advanced analytics. Reporting to the VP of Federal Civilian Growth, they will partner with DHS leadership to execute strategic account plans and advance FedCiv growth objectives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Drive DHS business growth by managing a multi-year pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and executing strategic account/client call plans.
  • Build and sustain strong DHS client and partner relationships, coordinating with operations to drive organic and inorganic growth.
  • Engage DHS leadership (HQ, CISA, CBP, ICE, USCIS), aligning account plans with DOGE and Executive Order initiatives.
  • Develop and execute targeted account plans with measurable strategies, leveraging ManTech's capabilities to shape growth and influence capability development.
  • Lead and support capture activities: brief at executive reviews, collaborate on RFIs/proposals, deliver customer presentations, and participate in orals/video submissions.
  • Maintain CRM updates, monitor market dynamics, and actively represent ManTech at DHS industry events to enhance visibility and teaming opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of experience selling technology and services to DHS (specifically HQ, CISA - CBP, ICE and USCIS would be a value add) with extensive current relationships across agency leadership. A combination of direct program and business development experience with DHS may also be considered.
  • Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, consistently achieving targets, and successfully developing DHS business from opportunity identification to award.
  •  Proven experience qualifying, developing, and winning opportunities exceeding $100M as a prime Federal contractor.
  • Ability to conduct high-level technical conversations with customers, coupled with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Comprehensive understanding of DHS Headquarters and Component missions, with a strong reputation within the DHS community. Direct program experience within DHS is a plus.
  • DHS EOD preferred

Clearance Requirement:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • DHS EOD Preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
  • Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
  • Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

The projected compensation range for this position is $153,800.00-$275,800.00.
