Job description

Qualifications

  • Good Work History
  • Must be willing to learn and follow directions of experienced employees
  • Can Work 24 Hour Callout Schedule
  • Preferred one (1) year experience working in the oil and gas industry, but this can be wavied with good work history
  • Valid Driver's License or State issued I.D.
  • Good Driving Record
  • Must Satisfy Homeland Security Requirements Regarding Background Checks
  • Must Complete Safety Training (Including Water Survival)
  • Must Comply with Drug & Alcohol Testing Requirements/Policy

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintains good communication with P & A Operator and Supervisor
  • Unloading boats, hooking onto loads, unhooking from loads with crane and rigging up equipment.
  • Rigging up valves and lines from pump to well.
  • Keeping up with water volume in tank's and how much has been pumped into well.
  • Mixing cement and cleaning cement blender after pumping cement.
  • Maintains all tools, making sure they are clean and in good working condition.
  • Assists pump operator in checking all fuel and oil levels in equipment.
  • Assist e-line and slick line during rig-up operations.
  • Notifies Supervisor of any unsafe condition he cannot correct alone and reports any incident immediately.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area or job site by following CES HSE and Standard Operating Procedures manuals
  • Working in the P&A Shop when necessary and or filing documentation.

Functional Capacity

  • Floor to knuckle lift- able to safely lift 90 lbs. for two (2) consecutive repetitions.
  • Floor to crown lift- able to safely lift 50 lbs. for two (2) consecutive repetitions.
  • Floor to waist lift- able to safely lift and carry 90 lbs. for 20 feet and lower at normal speed.
  • Able to hang from a 1 1/2" rope for a minimum of 15 seconds (offshore only).
  • Ability to climb stairs
