RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Perform comprehensive inspections on pre-owned vehicles.
  • Complete maintenance services including oil changes, fluid services, filters, and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, steering, suspension, and brake system concerns.
  • Perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet dealership standards.
  • Complete reconditioning work within established timeframes.
  • Accurately document inspections, recommendations, and completed repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous automotive technician experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • ASE certifications are a plus but not required.

COMPENSATION:

The Reconditioning Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $19.00 and $34.00. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.

  • Hourly and Flat Rate compensation based on experience and certifications.
