Facilities & Transportation
Location: Phoenix, AZ (office + group homes)
Pay: Hourly (DOE)
Schedule: Part-time or Full-time (flexible)
Job Description
AJ's Safe Place is seeking a dependable Facilities & Transportation to support our office and group homes. This role focuses on basic vehicle oversight, transportation documentation, and minor facility maintenance coordination. This is a support level position, not a management role.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain transportation logs and vehicle documentation
  • Track vehicle maintenance (oil changes, inspections, repairs)
  • Report and assist with basic plumbing, AC, and heater issues
  • Coordinate minor repairs for office and group homes
  • Conduct routine checks of vehicles and facilities
  • Communicate maintenance needs to leadership
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are followed
  • Perform other basic support duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle upkeep and general maintenance
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete checklists
  • Comfortable traveling between office and group homes
  • Good communication and reliability
  • Must pass background checks as required

Preferred (Not Required)
  • Experience in maintenance, facilities, or transportation support
  • Familiarity with documentation or log tracking
