Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to participate in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our office space, ensuring a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for all employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain HVAC (A/C) systems, coordinating repairs and servicing as needed to ensure consistent climate control
  • Manage lighting systems throughout the facility, including bulb replacement, fixture repairs, and reporting
  • Oversee key inventory and distribution, including issuing, tracking, and recovering keys for employees and visitors
  • Administer access control systems, including badge programming, permissions management, and troubleshooting entry issues
  • Manage parking arrangements, including visitor parking and resolving parking-related concerns
  • Coordinate installation, removal, and maintenance of wall hangings, artwork, and décor
  • Schedule and oversee painting projects, including touch-ups and full repaints as needed
  • Maintain signage throughout the facility, including wayfinding, safety, and branding signage; coordinate updates and replacements
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, and address hazards promptly
  • Manage furniture inventory, including ordering, assembly, repairs, and reconfiguration of workspaces
  • Oversee cleaning services and ensure all areas of the facility meet cleanliness standards
  • Coordinate plumbing repairs and maintenance, working with vendors as needed
  • Maintain breakroom supplies, equipment, and cleanliness
  • Support security operations, including monitoring systems, coordinating with security personnel, and responding to incidents

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in facilities management, office administration, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to coordinate with external vendors and contractors
  • Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to respond to urgent facility issues as they arise

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Hiring Rate Minimum: $22.50 hourly (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum wage thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum: $30.00 hourly
