RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer in New York, NY.
About the Project/Role:
We are hiring a Senior Salesforce Engineer to support a large marketing transformation initiative. This role is focused on helping migrate global BU's into a connected Salesforce ecosystem built around Marketing Cloud Advanced/Next, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Engagement, and future Cassie preference management integration.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience

Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (legacy SFMC is fine), especially:
  • Journey Builder
  • Automation Studio
  • Email Studio
  • CloudPages/landing pages/forms
  • AMPscript
  • SQL
  • Data Extensions
  • Experience integrating marketing processes with Salesforce CRM
  • Experience with campaign automation, segmentation, personalization, and marketing data flows
  • Experience with APIs/integrations between Salesforce and external systems
  • Comfortable working hands-on in delivery, not just architecture or strategy
  • Strong communication and ability to work across product, marketing, architecture, and engineering teams
  • Direct Marketing Cloud Advanced/Next Edition experience is preferred but not required
  • Candidates with Data Cloud experience are especially valuable
  • We can also consider strong legacy SFMC engineers or adjacent Salesforce marketing engineers who understand customer data, consent, activation, and integrated marketing architecture, because those skills will translate quickly into Marketing Cloud Next

Certifications Preferred:
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator or Marketing Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant

Nice to Have:
  • Salesforce Administrator
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Copado Fundamentals or similar DevOps certification

Strongly preferred:
  • Salesforce Data Cloud experience

Experience with:
  • Data ingestion
  • Identity resolution
  • Unified profiles
  • Segmentation
  • Activation
  • Experience with preference centers, subscription management, opt-in/opt-out, or consent-aware campaign logic
  • Experience with migrations from Eloqua, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar into Salesforce

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
