This position would travel to our sister locations: Manus Dental Hyde Park and Downtown Dental River North.

Dr. Katrina Foster-Sweet is a highly skilled orthodontist with a strong commitment to helping patients achieve radiant, perfectly aligned smiles. Her approach focuses on enhancing self-esteem and overall health while providing personalized care for each patient. With extensive expertise in Orthodontics and Orthognathic procedures, Dr. Foster-Sweet is particularly passionate about early intervention, recognizing and addressing orthodontic concerns in children as young as seven to prevent long-term issues.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist Dr. Foster-Sweet during dental and orthodontic procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments following infection control protocols
  • Take and process dental X-rays accurately and safely
  • Provide chairside assistance and ensure patient comfort
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene & post-treatment care
  • Keep accurate patient records following HIPAA regulations
  • Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized treatment area

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • 1+ year of orthodontic dental assisting experience required
  • Coronal polishing certification preferred
  • Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software preferred
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills - team-oriented mindset
  • Part Time or Full Time available
  • Ability to travel to sister location in Hyde Park up to 3x a month
