Job description

Job Summary:
The Expert Analyst, Enterprise Analytics is a senior individual contributor serving as the highest-level analytics practitioner within a defined clinical or operational domain at UVM Health. Domain assignments may include ambulatory care, inpatient operations, quality and patient safety, perioperative/surgical services, procedural specialties, emergency department, revenue cycle, population health, or other areas. The Expert Analyst provides strategic analytics partnership to department chairs, vice presidents, and senior operational and administrative leaders, manages the most complex and high-impact analytics work within the domain, and is responsible for mentoring junior analysts, providing coaching and training on stakeholder partnership and negotiation, and technical skills including SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools, and Epic reporting tools.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Public Health, or related field strongly preferred.
Experience:
• 7+ years of healthcare analytics experience, with at least 3 years as a Sr. Analyst or equivalent.
• Deep domain expertise in at least one clinical or operational area.
• Advanced experience with Epic Cogito tools, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Demonstrated history of delivering complex, high-visibility analytics that influenced organizational decisions.
• Experience working in agile product delivery preferred.
