We are seeking a Leasing Consultant in the Opelika-Auburn, AL area. As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in implementing our leasing and marketing program, promoting a positive image of our community, and assisting with resident retention programs. You'll be at the forefront of creating an exceptional living experience for our residents while achieving financial and operational goals. The ideal candidate will create a lasting influence on visitors, prospects, and residents through customer service focus to ensure residents feel welcome and comfortable in their community. We are interested in candidates that are willing to pursue this as their career as this position will offer excellent room for career growth and earnings potential.
What You'll Do:
  • Sales: Meet with future residents to understand their needs and preferences, and present our community and lofts that perfectly match their desires. You'll respond professionally and promptly to all inquiries, ensuring a seamless leasing process.
  • Customer Service: Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of our community, comply with all Fair Housing laws, and ensure our leasing office and common areas meet the highest quality and safety standards. You'll communicate effectively with residents, future residents, visitors, vendors, and team members, providing top-notch customer service.
  • Administrative: Assist in generating and distributing notices, maintaining organized work environments, preparing leases, and coordinating resident move-ins and move-outs. You'll document all communications and ensure smooth operations.

What We're Looking For:
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with standard office equipment and software, including MSOffice suite.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for market surveys and community functions.
  • Previous experience in apartment complex management is preferred but not required.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma level of education or above
  • 1+ years of apartment complex management experience preferred

Benefits:
Salary is $18 to $22 hourly, based on experience.
