Job Analyst (Contract)
Location: Chicago, IL
Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible On-Site)
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Compensation: $30–$35/hr

Overview
Our client is seeking a Job Analyst to join their Global Total Rewards team. This position will focus on job evaluations, job documentation, and supporting the development of career frameworks and job architecture across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys analyzing roles, gathering information from stakeholders, and creating clear, data-driven job descriptions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct job evaluations through interviews, surveys, and research
  • Analyze positions to define responsibilities, qualifications, and performance expectations
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions aligned with organizational and industry standards
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to accurately assess and document roles
  • Support competency framework development and career pathing initiatives
  • Assist with job architecture, skill matrices, and progression planning
  • Maintain job-related data and documentation within HR systems
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or related field
  • Experience in job evaluation, compensation, HR analysis, or related HR functions
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written communication and documentation abilities
  • Experience working with HR systems and workforce data
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certifications
  • Spanish language skills
