Job description

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: West Allis, WI and Milwaukee, WI

Shifts: 1st and 2nd shift

Pay: $25 - $33 per hour, based on experience

Job Description

As a CNC Machinist, you will operate and maintain Haas, Hwacheon 3 & 4 axis CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls in a dynamic job-shop environment. You will perform complete changeovers and setups, achieving first-piece inspections through required program edits and offsets. Your role also involves accurately measuring parts and completing associated quality documentation to ensure production output, and operating other CNC equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Haas and Hwacheon 3 & 4 axis CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls.
  • Perform complete machine changeovers and setups.
  • Execute first-piece inspections through program edits and offsets.
  • Accurately measure parts and maintain quality documentation.
  • Ensure production output meets quality standards.
  • Operate additional CNC equipment as required.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Lathe and CNC operations.
  • Expertise in reading blueprints and applying GD&T principles.
  • 3+ years of experience in CNC setup.
  • 3+ years of experience with G&M code.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a job-shop environment.
  • Experience with grinding and interpreting G&M codes.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
