What You'll Do

As a CNC Operator, you'll play a key role in manufacturing precision elevator components by safely operating CNC equipment and supporting fabrication operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Set up, program (as required), adjust, and operate CNC punch and press brake equipment.
  • Manufacture precision elevator components from sheet metal and steel plate.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Determine proper tooling, dies, and machine setups for each job.
  • Perform machine setup changes and adjustments to ensure quality production.
  • Verify dimensions and maintain required sheet metal tolerances.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and routine machine care.
  • Ensure adequate raw materials are available for scheduled production.
  • Complete production documentation accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work closely with supervisors and production team members to meet manufacturing schedules.


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in steel fabrication, metal fabrication, or elevator manufacturing.
  • Experience operating CNC press brakes.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
  • Experience selecting tooling and performing machine setup changes.
  • Understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and tolerances.
  • Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
