Machine Prep Technician

  • Prepare and configure CNC machine tools for shipment to customer facilities.
  • Perform mechanical assembly, machine setup, and installation of components, tooling, accessories, and automation systems.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation.
  • Install and adjust machine components to ensure proper fit, alignment, and operation.
  • Perform quality checks and functional testing on completed machine setups.
  • Inspect machines for proper assembly, alignment, and overall workmanship before shipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and make necessary adjustments.
  • Work with precision measuring tools and hand tools during machine preparation and assembly.
  • Document machine preparation, testing, adjustments, and completed work according to company procedures.
  • Work closely with engineering, service, and manufacturing personnel to resolve issues and ensure machines meet customer specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following established safety procedures.
  • Prepare completed machines for shipment, ensuring components and accessories are properly installed, secured, and documented.
