2nd shift role with 10% differential. Full or Part Time hours available!
Job Summary:
The CNC Lead is a hands-on team leader responsible for coordinating daily work activities while performing production tasks alongside the team. This mid-level leadership role supports supervisors by guiding employees, monitoring workflow, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. The CNC Lead also assists with training, problem-solving, and communication between workers and management.

Operations Manager
Essential Job Functions
  • Supervise 2nd shift personnel and maintaining high quality and level of production.
  • Operates and sets up CNC Lathe machines.
  • Provide technical support to 2nd shift machine operators.
  • Select and install cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and other accessories according to specifications
  • Appropriately modify or edit programs.
  • Make appropriate offsets and adjustments to tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Properly use calipers, veneers, and thread gauges.
  • Complete required inspection checks.
  • Properly and safely load and unload machines.
  • Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machines.
  • Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
  • Actively enforces safety rules and guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for direct reports.
  • Communicate expectations, assignments, and responsibilities clearly and professionally.
  • Ensure that team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements.
  • Work to ensure people and resources are applied in an efficient and effective manner to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards.
  • Must enforce the company's policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required
  • High school diploma or GED required. State Apprentice Program Certification in CNC a plus
  • 4+ years as setup and operator experience in CNC Lathe machining, tsugamis preferred.
  • Ability to hold tight tolerances.
