Job Title

Salesforce Developer (Experience Cloud)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid – onsite once per week, up to twice if needed)


Position Overview

seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with strong expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud (Communities) to support the design, development, and optimization of high‑performance digital experiences. This role requires a hands‑on technical leader who can architect scalable solutions, develop advanced Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems.

This is a staff augmentation, hourly contract role with a projected duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business need.

Key Responsibilities1. Architectural Design & Strategy
  • Lead end‑to‑end architecture and solution design for Salesforce Experience Cloud sites.
  • Select and implement LWR or Aura-based templates based on performance, scalability, and SEO requirements.
  • Design secure access models leveraging External Identity, SSO, and advanced sharing mechanisms, including Account Relationship Data Sharing and Apex Managed Sharing.
  • Define and maintain governance standards, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines for Experience Cloud metadata deployments.
2. Technical Development (Hands‑On Leadership)
  • Develop high‑performance Lightning Web Components (LWC) optimized for the Lightning Web Runtime (LWR).
  • Implement Audience Targeting and Salesforce CMS for personalized digital experiences.
  • Design and build Headless Flows, asynchronous Apex, and scalable automation to support high‑volume external user interactions.
3. Data & Integration
  • Integrate Salesforce Experience Cloud with Salesforce Data Cloud to surface unified customer profiles and deliver 360‑degree user experiences.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with external systems (e.g., ERP, AWS, Marketing Cloud) using REST/SOAP APIs and Named Credentials.
4. Leadership & Collaboration
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards to ensure performance, security, and governor‑limit compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and user stories.
  • Present technical designs, system roadmaps, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • 4+ years of hands‑on experience designing and developing Salesforce Experience Cloud (Communities) solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the end‑to‑end architecture of Experience Cloud sites (must be clearly stated on resume).
  • Deep knowledge of LWR (Lightning Web Runtime) and its impact on performance and SEO.
  • Expert‑level proficiency in:
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • Apex
    • JavaScript (ES6+)
    • HTML5, CSS, and SLDS
  • Experience using Salesforce CLI (SFDX) and modern DevOps/CI‑CD practices.

Certifications (Required / Highly Preferred)
  • Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud ConsultantREQUIRED (must have at time of submission)

Preferred Skills
  • Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • UI/UX design experience for customer‑facing portals
