Hourly Business Analyst Google Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to provide production support and drive enhancements for two data-driven, dealer-facing applications. This role is responsible for triaging production incidents and change requests, analyzing data to identify root causes, writing and optimizing SQL queries, supporting API integrations, and assisting with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of translating technical issues into clear communication for both technical and business stakeholders. This position requires close collaboration with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to ensure application stability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide production support for data-driven applications, including:
  • Monitoring inbound and outbound data feeds.
  • Managing scheduled file processing.
  • Maintaining database integrity.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to:
  • Investigate production issues.
  • Validate data accuracy.
  • Support business and technical analysis.
• Work within cloud-based data platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Support environments utilizing Databricks and/or Oracle databases.
• Support and troubleshoot RESTful and SOAP API integrations by:
  • Validating request/response payloads.
  • Diagnosing connectivity and data mapping issues.
  • Coordinating with development teams to resolve integration defects.
• Support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Single Sign-On (SSO) for dealer-facing applications by:
  • Assisting with application registration and configuration.
  • Troubleshooting authentication and user access issues.
  • Working with IAM, Security, and Development teams on token handling and integration.
  • Maintaining SSO documentation and incident records.
• Analyze complex, multi-source datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes, providing actionable recommendations.
• Gather, document, and maintain:
  • Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
  • Functional Specifications
  • Technical Runbooks
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC best practices to manage enhancements, incidents, and production support activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, production incident reports, knowledge articles, and status updates.
• Manage work items, defects, and enhancements using Jira or similar project management tools.
• Independently own assigned tasks while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Application Support Analyst, or similar technical role.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting SQL queries.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Single Sign-On (SSO), including:
  • Configuration
  • User access troubleshooting
  • Enterprise application integration
• Experience supporting or implementing REST/SOAP API integrations, including troubleshooting data exchange failures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Experience gathering, documenting, validating, and managing business and technical requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management and meeting facilitation skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working in a customer-facing production support environment.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks.
• Experience with Oracle Database.
• Experience working in Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) environments.
• Familiarity with dealer-facing or enterprise business applications.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and production support best practices.
