Job Summary

Blue Lagoon Pools is seeking an experienced Construction Crew Lead to manage and execute in-ground pool installations.

This is a leadership role, not a laborer position. You will be responsible for running job sites, leading a crew, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a construction crew on active job sites
• Perform and oversee:
  • Excavation and grading
  • Pool plumbing installation
  • Concrete forming and finishing
  • Equipment installation (filters, pumps, heaters)
  • Basic electrical coordination (bonding, conduit, rough-ins)
• Read and interpret construction plans
• Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and productivity
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
• Keep projects on schedule

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years construction experience (pool experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, and site layout
• Proficiency in pool plumbing and hydraulic systems
• Experience with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and layouts
• Solid understanding of job site safety and best practices
• Strong leadership and crew management skills
• Ability to problem-solve in real time and make decisions on-site
• Excellent time management and job sequencing skills
• Clear communication with crew, subs, and management
• High level of accountability and ownership of work
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Pool construction experience
• CDL license ( A Plus) 
• Experience with project scheduling and site management
