The Role

We’re hiring a CDL Delivery Driver to support our rental operations in Stafford, VA. You’ll be the pro who transports heavy equipment to and from customer sites—efficiently, safely, and with top-tier service.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. Overtime paid after 40 hours. Occasional on-call rotation with additional compensation.

What You’ll Do
  • Operate your truck in full compliance with all state and federal transportation regulations.
  • Deliver and pick up equipment on time over assigned routes, always prioritizing safety and traffic law compliance.
  • Confidently position and maneuver truck/trailer for loading and unloading; follow spotter signals.
  • Assist with loading/unloading using appropriate equipment; return skids and gear to designated areas.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork, including signed invoices and bills of lading; submit docs upon route completion.
  • Handle routine truck service checks (oil, water, fuel, air) and report issues to the Shipping Supervisor.
  • Stage and arrange trailers in the yard to support optimal loading patterns.
  • Pitch in with other related duties as needed.

Skills & Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; professional communication at customer sites and branches.
  • Ability to stay focused and organized in a busy environment.
Education and Experience
  • Commercial driver’s license: Class A CDL or chauffeur’s license as required by state and vehicle weight.
  • Must pass DOT physical for vehicles over 10,000 lbs.
  • Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
  • Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations
Physical Requirements
  • Long periods seated in a truck cab.
  • Able to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
  • Frequent travel.
  • Some customers require CDL drivers to be clean shaven for site access.
  • This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen
