This is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in a dynamic manufacturing environment, where your contributions will directly influence how products are made and delivered. As an Industrial Engineer Intern, you'll dive into the heart of operations, applying industrial engineering principles to real-world challenges. You will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities for improvement, streamlining processes, and ensuring that efficiency and quality are at the core of every operation. Your fresh perspective and analytical skills will be invaluable as you support a team committed to excellence and continuous growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing production, labor, and process data to help improve workflow, efficiency, and resource utilization.
  • Observe manufacturing operations and help document current processes, work balance, and sequence of operations.
  • Participate in waste elimination and continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles. Assist with documenting process changes and improvement ideas.
  • Assist with time studies, motion analysis, and standardized work reviews.
  • Assist manufacturing, maintenance, and production teams with technical and analytical support for day-to-day operational issues.
  • Support plant layout activities using AutoCAD.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0-2 years related experience required.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.
  • Ability to accurately document information.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and AutoCAD.
