As an Intern, you will dive into the heart of operations, applying industrial engineering principles to real-world challenges and making a tangible impact on how products are made and delivered. Your fresh perspective and analytical skills will be invaluable as you support a team committed to excellence and continuous growth, identifying opportunities for improvement, streamlining processes, and ensuring that efficiency and quality are at the core of every operation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing production, labor, and process data to help improve workflow, efficiency, and resource utilization.
  • Observe manufacturing operations and help document current processes, work balance, and sequence of operations.
  • Participate in waste elimination and continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles. Assist with documenting process changes and improvement ideas.
  • Assist with time studies, motion analysis, and standardized work reviews.
  • Assist manufacturing, maintenance, and production teams with technical and analytical support for day-to-day operational issues.
  • Support plant layout activities using AutoCAD.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0-2 years related experience required.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.
  • Ability to accurately document information.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and AutoCAD.
