Job description

Role - Temporary with possibility of going permanent
Hourly pay 40.00/hour

Accountant – Temp Position

Summary of top tasks:
  1. Prepare month end close entries and monthly rollforward schedules.
  2. Performs financial analysis and reconciliation on various general ledger accounts (such as unclaimed refunds, advances for construction and CIAC) on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  3. Process the monthly Main Extension Contract Refunds, prepares assignment and monitors accuracy of the contract refunds.
  4. Reviews completeness and accuracy of job closing package information.  Performs cost and budget analysis of projects and ensures that all documentation, analysis, authorization, etc. for all phases of projects are complete and proper.
  5. Process special projects, account analysis reports, and other analysis as assigned.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related discipline
  2. 3 – 5 years of Accounting experience preferably in the area of fixed assets
  3. Accounting Month end close experience
  4. Advanced Excel skills
