About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This role involves delivering perioperative nursing care for a variety of surgical procedures, with a focus on Orthopedic and Neuro cases, while collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for orthopedic, neuro, and other surgical procedures.
Perform circulating and scrub duties while maintaining sterile technique throughout surgical procedures.
Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, and equipment before each procedure.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to support optimal patient outcomes.
Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR while following perioperative standards and facility protocols.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required.
Orthopedic and Neuro OR experience in a Level I or Level II trauma setting required.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Ability to work four 10-hour shifts, participate in weekday and rotating weekend on-call coverage, and provide holiday coverage as required.
