Dental Hygienist, Part Time

We are a well-established, patient-focused dental practice in West Los Angeles seeking a dependable and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. We are looking for someone who is professional, thorough, a team player and committed to providing high-quality patient care.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or a hygienist with experience looking to join a professional and supportive dental practice.

Schedule

  • 1 Monday per week
  • 1 Wednesday per month
  • Full patient schedule provided

Responsibilities

  • Provide thorough and preventive dental hygiene care
  • Perform scaling, prophylaxis and periodontal assessments.
  • Take diagnostic digital X-rays
  • Educate patients regarding oral hygiene and periodontal health
  • Review medical and dental histories
  • Maintain accurate patient records and charting
  • Maintain proper sterilization and infection control procedures
  • Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines
  • Create a positive and comfortable patient experience
