Do you need a CDL to drive a shuttle bus?

In most cases, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is not required to operate a shuttle bus for a hotel or similar service if the vehicle has a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of less than 26,001 pounds and does not transport hazardous materials.
