Lobby Attendant
Department: Housekeeping
Reports To: Director of Housekeeping

Job Overview:
The Housekeeping Lobby Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel lobby and public areas. This includes cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Sanitizing:
o Clean and sanitize all lobby areas, including floors, furniture, and fixtures.
o Empty trash cans and ashtrays regularly.
o Clean and sanitize public restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
o Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
o Vacuum carpets and rugs.
o Mop floors as needed.
Guest Service:
o Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
o Assist guests with inquiries and requests as needed.
o Respond to guest complaints and issues promptly and efficiently.
Maintenance and Inventory:
o Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
o Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and restock as needed.
o Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
Additional Duties:
o Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
Qualifications:
โ€ข High school diploma or equivalent.
โ€ข Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
โ€ข Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
โ€ข Strong attention to detail.
โ€ข Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
โ€ข Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
โ€ข Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
