Job Summary
The Special Project Person plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, comfort, and overall guest satisfaction in the hotel. This position requires a proactive, friendly, and attentive individual who will be responsible for a range of cleaning tasks to ensure the hotel meets the highest standards of cleanliness. The individual will assist in various special projects, such as deep cleaning and maintenance, while always maintaining a positive and professional demeanor with guests, managers, and fellow employees.

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• At least 1-2 years of experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles, including knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.

• Experience with specialized cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing, steam cleaning, pressure washing, and stripping/waxing tile floors.

• Familiarity with cleaning and maintenance of various hotel cleaning equipment, including vacuums, steam cleaners, and pressure washers.

Physical Requirements:

• Flexible and long hours are sometimes required.

• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time.
