Job description

Full time or Part time- rotating Maintenance positions available, will be evenings, weekends, and some mornings- rotating weekend shifts.

Maintenance department is responsible for the Comfort Suites Hotel and Conference Center, Holiday Inn Express, and the Cactus Red's Restaurant.

Pay is based on experience

Interview will be in person and will show off your maintenance skills

We are seeking a self-motivated, organized, and dependable Maintenance Technician to help keep our hotel operating smoothly and ensure an excellent guest experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Perform general maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry repairs.
  • Maintain hotel pools and spas, including chemical testing and balancing.
  • Assist with carpet cleaning and upkeep of hotel grounds, pavilion, and garden areas.
  • Perform seasonal duties such as snow removal in winter and sprinkler maintenance in summer.
  • Keep maintenance supplies organized and report low inventory.
  • Respond to guest requests and maintenance concerns in a professional manner.
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding repairs and property needs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry.
  • Pool and spa maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
  • Reliable and able to respond to seasonal maintenance needs, including snow removal.
