Job Description:

The AI Marketing Coordinator supports Onni's hospitality brands in Chicago by using AI-enabled tools to accelerate and scale marketing execution - from content creation and digital campaigns to guest communications and brand collateral. The role is responsible for the full coordination and execution of several marketing projects, blending AI-assisted workflows with hands-on digital marketing, social media, brand/creative, and administrative support to reach targeted sales and marketing goals for the Chicago market.

What You Will Do:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

AI-Enabled Digital & Website

  • Maintain and update websites and evergreen listings for Chicago hospitality properties, including routine site maintenance and page layout
  • Use AI tools to help draft, personalize, and QA automated and one-time email campaigns and guest lifecycle communications
  • Oversee digital concierge tools, ensuring a seamless, AI-supported guest experience
  • Use AI platforms to help create and package digital ad content; support media planning, buying, and administration
  • Set up and manage AI-driven media monitoring alerts across Chicago hospitality brands and properties

Social Media & Content

  • Plan, schedule, and publish content across hospitality brand social channels, using AI tools to speed up ideation, copy, and content variations
  • Create content concepts, film, and edit original content (with AI-assisted editing where useful) for organic and paid social use
  • Handle community engagement - responding to guest inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely, on-brand voice
  • Support influencer and ambassador campaigns, including outreach, vetting, and content coordination (within a provided framework)
  • Manage a centralized content library, keeping approved assets and visuals organized and refreshed across Chicago properties

Brand & Creative

  • Coordinate updates to brand collateral and guidelines (brochures, signage, uniforms, floorplans, etc.), using AI design tools to speed up first drafts
  • Design small marketing pieces, meeting and event signage, email blasts, and professional-looking sales pitches and revenue packages
  • Support creative development of new hospitality projects, including branding, brochure design, direct mail, advertising, and leasing/guest-facing collateral
  • Coordinate digital renderings, floorplans, and other property assets
  • Work with designers, marketers, and property teams to align brand storytelling and manage guest communications with a seamless, brand-aligned tone

Project & Administrative Support

  • Support execution of events, project launches, and brand partnerships to drive awareness and guest engagement at Chicago properties
  • Take and distribute meeting notes, manage project timelines in Asana, and coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Meet vendors and suppliers at site meetings, approve proofs, collect samples, and support competitive estimating
  • Handle marketing expenses, purchase orders, and gift certificate distribution
  • Maintain organized file systems, enforce naming conventions, and keep asset libraries current
  • Update and maintain the Marketing Hub so content stays accurate, accessible, and current
  • Coordinate with operations teams at Chicago properties to ensure marketing needs are communicated and addressed
  • Assist the Digital Marketing Manager with marketing reports, ad creation, campaign management, and general team/administrative tasks

What You Bring:

  • A post-secondary diploma/degree (Marketing or Business concentrations an asset)

  • Superior writing, editing, and copywriting skills, with the judgment to review and refine AI-generated content before it goes out

  • Hands-on comfort with generative AI tools for copy, image, and content workflows (e.g., ChatGPT/Copilot-style tools, AI design or editing assistants)

  • Ability to provide insight and strategic recommendations to achieve hospitality marketing objectives

  • Strong computer skills: high proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential; basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is an asset

  • Understanding of digital initiatives, including web application processes, SEO, and Google products (Analytics, AdWords, Webmaster Tools) is an asset

  • Experience with CRM software, particularly Yardi, is an asset

  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and content scheduling/monitoring tools for hospitality or consumer brands

  • A valid driver's license and vehicle to facilitate visits to Onni's hospitality properties across the Chicago area

Salary Range:

$55,000 - $65,000
