EMERGING ADVANCED PRODUCTS, LLC is currently seeking dynamic candidates for the position of:
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
1st SHIFT
6:00 am to 2:30 pm
Emerging Advanced Products, LLC is a 182,000 square foot manufacturing facility for body structures amp; assemblies, modular assemblies - FEM, seating structure amp; components, powertrain amp; fuel systems, thermal heat shields. We have stamping presses ranging from 200 to 3000 Ton.
JOB SUMMARY:
  • Performs and leads tasks in the installation, repair, maintenance and operation of mechanical, electrical, environmental controls, and facility controls.
  • Supports other teams and projects in areas like plant safety compliance, quality, IATF compliance, environmental compliance, production attainment and cost goals.
  • Ensures facilities and equipment are operating properly and efficiently all with the goal of reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and ensuring safety.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manufacturing plant maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, stamping presses and facilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with the flexibility of adapting to changing priorities.
  • Participates in continuous improvement.
  • Develops and implements maintenance practice/improvements.
  • Experience in electrical circuits: 3 phase circuits, motors and switches.
  • Robots and control troubleshooting; able to read PLC program.
  • Repair any pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Print reading ability; basic symbol and circuits for both electrical and pneumatic/hydraulic.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Trade school/degree.
  • 1-3 years in metal stamping manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in pneumatic/hydraulic repairs. Basic electrical.
  • Adheres to Plant safety rules and processes.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Frequent periods of walking and standing in manufacturing environment
  • Ability to stand on a ladder or aerial platform to perform above ground level work with proper safety equipment.
  • Adaptability to seasonal changes in temperatures from cold, mild, humid, hot.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, reach above, reach under for machine and/or facility repairs.
  • Ability to be certified to operate moving equipment including a forklift, aerial platform, and operate overhead cranes.
  • Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
