Host/Hostess

Intown Golf Club is the premier private social club and lifestyle brand for people that appreciate the game of golf. IGC Is seeking an experienced and driven individual for our Host position. We're looking for someone who is a service focused multi-tasker, with strong guest service skills, who is committed to providing a high-quality experience to our patrons.

Host/Hostess Responsibilities:

  • Provide an excellent initial experience to patrons by greeting them and guiding them to their table in a very gracious manner
  • Provide patrons with menus and answer any initial questions they may have
  • Coordinate with server staff to ensure timely greeting of patrons
  • Optimize dining room seating and coordinate with server and bar staff to ensure even and fair workload
  • Answer phone and assist with reservation requests and questions
  • Assist with member shop sales
  • Maintain a clean reception area

Host/Hostess Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous Host / Host Experience at a fine dining restaurant
  • Ability to walk / stand for long hours.
  • Exemplifies a history of service excellence
  • Extremely personable and have excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
  • Available to work at peak hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and weekends
