Position: Support Staff – Host/Hostess
Reporting To: General Manager, FOH Manager

Job Summary

Buck & Honey’s is looking for an enthusiastic and personable Host/Hostess to join our team! Candidates should have open and flexible availability. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age to be considered. Candidates must have weekend availability to be considered. 
As a member of the support staff, you will play a vital role in creating a unique and memorable experience for our guests. In addition to hosting duties, you may assist in other support roles such as bussing, food running, or dock handling as needed. At Buck & Honey’s, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality with enthusiasm, friendliness, and a personal touch.
Duties and Responsibilities

Guest Interactions

  • Act positively and professionally with coworkers, guests, and the public.
  • Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
  • Answer phones, take reservations, and manage take-out orders.
  • Manage the seating chart and coordinate guest seating efficiently.
  • Assist with bussing tables as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively as a teammate with all coworkers.
Housekeeping

  • Maintain pristine cleanliness throughout the restaurant, including host areas.
  • Perform regular restroom checks to ensure supplies (paper towels, soap, toilet paper) are adequately stocked and areas are clean.
