Job description

Description of the role

The role of a Psych Tech/Recovery Advocate Level 1 and 2 - at Santa Maria Hostel involves providing support and care to individuals seeking recovery from addiction and mental health issues. You will be responsible for assisting clients in their recovery journey and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support and assistance to clients in their recovery process
  • Monitor and document client progress and behavior
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions
  • Assist in crisis intervention when necessary
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in a behavioral health setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work overnight shifts
