Visit Phoenix is looking for a Tourism Coordinator to join our team and play a vital role in promoting one of the nation's premier travel destinations. What You'll Do
As the Tourism Coordinator, you'll be the operational backbone of a high-performing tourism team, ensuring all the details come together seamlessly. You'll support sales and marketing initiatives, coordinate timelines and travel industry programs, manage important reporting and administrative functions, and help create memorable experiences for visitors and tourism partners.
Key Responsibilities
Support Tourism, Sales amp; Marketing Efforts
  • Serve as a resource for members, clients, partners, and visitors
  • Respond to department inquiries (phone amp; email)
  • Coordinate schedules and help ensure seamless operations when team members are traveling
  • Contribute to special projects across the Tourism department
  • Work closely with sales managers and marketing team on promotional initiatives
  • Assist with sales lead input, distribution, and follow up
  • Support intern onboarding, training, and project coordination
Coordinate Events, Trade Shows amp; FAM Tours
  • Prepare itineraries, participation materials, sales kits, and appointment schedules
  • Assist with site inspections, familiarization (FAM) tours, and tourism programs
  • Support tourism missions, trade shows, and industry events
  • Represent Visit Phoenix at events as needed
Track Performance amp; Reporting
  • Maintain organized records, including SimpleView CRM data
  • Monitor tourism team activity and production metrics
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Track campaign performance, ROI, and member participation
  • Maintain amp; update department SOP documentation as needed

  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus
  • Ability to lift and transport event and promotional materials up to 40 pounds as needed
